Water pollution by nitrates from agricultural sources
Dataset Evaluation
4-yearly report on water pollution by nitrates and action programmes taken in vulnerable zones, base on the European Directive (91/676/EEC) on the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources.
The report consist of:
- a statement of the preventive actions taken
- a map of the designated vulnerable zones (NVZs) (shapefile)
- monitoring results (excel tables)
- action programmes
The Cyprus reports for the years 2008-2019 can be downloaded from the EIONET CDR platform (https://cdr.eionet.europa.eu/cy/eu/nid/), while newer reports will be available from Reportnet 3.0 (https://reportnet.europa.eu/public/country/CY).
