Dataset Evaluation
The Department of Geological Survey, within the scope of its responsibilities, prepares maps that include Geological Suitability Zones concerning the geological hazards threatening the built environment in the terrestrial area of the Republic. These zones are periodically revised based on new knowledge acquired from recent geological and geotechnical investigations. The reference to the month and year always corresponds to the latest edition and publication of the zones.
